Health and Hygiene:
Simple proven standards of hygiene are
introduced from the start of the journey. burning rubbish, burying human
waste, cleaning, disinfecting and proper washing are routines which are
established. All water is
purified with iodine or potassium permanganate. We also carry a
comprehensive First Aid Kit.
Food:
Packed in large plastic barrels this includes vegetables, fruit, bread,
eggs, meat, jams, cereals and soups; tinned and dehydrated foods are also
held in reserve. All the
cooking is a group effort so the meals are always an interesting
experience!
Personal spending money:
The trips are on an all inclusive basis so you only need money for
drinks etc. at rest stops or at nearby villages.
